Babes Gowild is a celebration of women’s longstanding bonds of friendship. At once humorous and poignant, this film examines how even close relationships may eventually dissipate over time.

Goth Babe took to Pier 17’s rooftop stage on Cinco de Mayo evening and inspired an audience consisting of college-age Gen Z’ers and older Millennials to relax to their melodic dream pop, starting off their performance with “New Born Worlds”, an anthem that guaranteed head turning moments.

Lola offers music that hints at modern hippie festival fare (with early MGMT, Empire of the Sun, and Washed Out all appearing), yet there are moments that show what makes Goth Babe truly their own. Take “Bioluminescence”, for instance; its aquatic-celestial sound will surely grace many stoned man’s playlist.
