Becka is an experienced workers’ compensation attorney. She frequently assists her clients with rating, classification and premium issues before the Industrial Commission and BWC Adjudicating Committee and defends against workers’ compensation retaliation claims filed in state courts.
Becka was raised by both parents – a government attorney and registered nurse – to value public service and lifelong learning. Prior to working at Jewish Federations across California and Oregon, she empowered women to make charitable gifts in their own names. Now, Becka works at King County where she oversees half of its $16 billion budget to advance environmental, mobility, and racial justice priorities.
