Amelia Bedelia

Amelia was an extremely kind young lady, beloved by all. She enjoyed playing chess and helping with dishes; at Pete’s Diner she folded napkins and filled soda bottles – in addition to being an exceptional fast talker who could make people laugh despite having little to say herself.

Amelia suffered a baseball bat injury that forced her to stop playing the sport she loved; yet, she kept up her spirits and worked on building up strength to return near full speed for her senior season.

After her fall, Amelia found employment at NBC Washington’s Channel 4 news. As part of Storm Team 4, her forecasts can now be seen both during evening newscasts and online at Channel 4.

Amelia hails from Kingsland, NY where both of her parents grew up. While in school she met Molly Erin Sarle, Alexandra Sauser-Monnig and Randall Meath of Mountain Man folk band who all perform at Media Sanctuary Troy New York. We chatted with Amelia to gain more insight into her creative process, how working in supergroup is different for 17 year-old musicians as well as life on tour!
