Exhibitionist Bdsm (or Exhibitionist Bedazzlement Self-Masturbation or Bdsm for short) involves publicly exposing oneself sexually. This may occur conscientiously as part of swinging or group sex or in nonthreatening ways such as flashing other attendees at public events (streaking). Exposing oneself sexually may be done for autoeroticism purposes if observed actions cause sexual stimulation for someone and become sexually aroused themselves; or it can become submissive BDSM when one exhibits themselves for their dominant partner or vice versa.

Most people who exhibit themselves do so in a nonthreatening manner and allow others to watch, often with humor and without feeling embarrassed by their behavior. But there are those who take their fetishes too far and engage in behavior which would otherwise be considered illegal in public spaces; such individuals are known as exhibitionists and may suffer from Exhibitionistic Disorder.

As is commonly believed, the urge to exhibit oneself stems from an unconscious need for admiration and attention, which can also be sexually exciting to witness the reactions of their victims, particularly if they feel shamed or fearful; many exhibitionists masturbate immediately or later on until reaching an orgasmic state.

Psychotherapy is often effective at treating exhibitionists, particularly cognitive-behavioral therapy. Patients are encouraged to recognize any irrational justifications for their behavior and implement healthier coping mechanisms. Other therapies, including orgasmic reconditioning, help replace fantasies of sexual behavior while masturbating with more acceptable fantasies of masturbating freely.
